Kasimovian Age is the third of four
ages in the
Pennsylvanian Epoch of the
Carboniferous period. It lasted from approximately 306.5±1.0 to 303.9±0.9 million years ago. It was preceded by the
Moscovian age and followed by the
Gzhelian. This age is named after the town of
Kasimov in Russia
